@Steven: As I say an experiment that went well for a change. The "rocks" in the distance are actually trees and that's the one disappointment in the image the line of green did not come out as strong as I had hoped.

@sherri: By the time hurricanes find us it usually means lots of water and not much else ;-) If there is such a thing as a anti-hurricane this evening was it very still, few clouds (the ones in the image were about it) and the only water to be found was in the lake...

@Betty: Thanks as always Betty - your seagull friend Stanley would be right at home here I think...

@Stefan: Thanks Stefan in part this is due to your "from the family album" image- I guessed you had extended your exposure just a bit to create the effect and wanted to see what would happen with small waves in similar conditions...
