alex centrella from California, United Statesi like the colors and the lone tree.. 5 Sep 2008 6:16pm @alex centrella: thanks alex Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomHi Bill, thats must be pretty lonely for one tree there.... I think it's a good shot, that actually looks like a painting. 6 Sep 2008 12:24am @Observing: yes - I think it became almost impressionistic more through good luck than anything... GJC from Kyoto, JapanLovely soft colors. I wonder if cropping down the sky a little would emphasize that tree even more. Just a thought. 6 Sep 2008 3:57am @GJC: It does I just tried it again but I think it diminishes the solitude effect a bit as well so it is a bit of a trade off... Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesI can see why you took this one, Bill... it's extremely difficult to capture the lighting that I see here and be satisfied with it in the photo. You did well but it must have been fantastic to the naked eye. 6 Sep 2008 12:03pm @Earnest: It's that golden colour across the top of the corn it only lasts for a few moments and the angle has to be just right I've got a couple that are close but not quite there.. |
