Acres of corn wait to be harvested under a wonderful blue sky - on the same day oil shot up $16 / barrel...

INteresting thought. You know making ethanol from corm will not solve our energy problems, on the other hands it will increase the price of food and make life difficult for a whole lot of people

@navin harish: Navin - a lot of the corn being grown in our area now is going directly to the ethanol plant - we have a new plant not more than 20km from where I live. Things certainly have changed on the farm since I was a boy!

@Earnest: Thanks Earnest - I had a picture in my head all day and took the walk late in the day, took the picture and voila there it was.... sometimes things do go as planned.
