A tired, ragged bee looking for nectar on tired, ragged flowers - so summer ends in this part of the world. The eyes and head not as sharp as they should have been but if a picture of an insect can stir emotions I thought this one might...
@navin harish: I'm afraid at this point of the year I'm not sure the bee would have the energy to sting me...

Great representation for the end of summer. That bee certainly does look tired... and it's looking in all the wrong places! Fantastic shot.

@Observing: Mike - other than the last few days it has been a great fall but after four days of gloom and rain I htought this guy summed everyone's feelings up well...
