Frozen SunsetPosted by Bill Ault (GBA, Canada) on 11 January 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio. This was a difficult shot to capture the reflected sun caused a lot of issues with exposure - more than I expected - I assume because it was ice causing the reflection and not water...

Excellent work! 11 Jan 2009 12:24pm @Betty: Thanks Betty - hopefully will get another chance this afternoon... baobab from Cambridge, United Statesbeautiful shot Bill - and nice technique, either in-camera and/or pp to get the visual balance right when exposing sky and scenery. 12 Jan 2009 1:14am @baobab: mostly pp because I didn't do quite well enough in-camera... a few more today (Sunday) that were a little better in-camera and pp... stay-tuned.... DarkElf from Perth, Australiasuperb light balance and good composition!... you have captured a beautiful sight indeed! 12 Jan 2009 1:38am @DarkElf: thanks DarkElf a few more coming up this week that may be even better...
