@Stovepipe: thanks Stovepipe - it always amazes me - how different things can look through the camera... this is a scene that is not all that uncommon in this part of the world, especially at this time of year, through the lens it certainly does make one look twice.

great composition with the cracks in the ice, and the tones are wonderful. It would be nice to see a tiny bit more of the sky, but that may be distracting for others.
