@Marie LC: Thanks Marie - the softness and depth of the clouds is what initially caught my attention. Betty from New Jersey, United StatesThis is my favorite of the series! I agree with Marie... fire and ice. Beautiful. 16 Jan 2009 10:53am @Betty: Thanks Betty - interesting that you pick this one as your favourite, while I liked it I don't think it was my favourite of the bunch... different likes for different eyes. Tony Duque from Raleigh, United StatesI'm with Betty... this is my favorite of the series, too. The reflection in the (liquid?) water near shore, the cloud shadows/crepusculars and the colors combine to make a truly memorable shot, Bill. Thanks for sharing these most pleasing pictures! 16 Jan 2009 6:01pm @Tony Duque: The reflection is actually clear ice (clear of snow and clear to see through as well) - you are most welcome Tony. baobab from Cambridge, United Statesbrilliant series, Bill - I've enjoyed them all. 16 Jan 2009 6:23pm @baobab: thanks baobab @Stunner: thanks Stunner DarkElf from Perth, Australiawonderful sunset! the contrast between frozen surface and the colours in the sky is amazing! 17 Jan 2009 1:55pm @DarkElf: thanks DarkElf - nature at her finest. |
